Is the Careers Clinic right for you?
A short conversation to work out what you need and where to go next
The Careers Clinic is for people who would benefit from a short confidential conversation about their career. You might not be sure what support you need, have a specific situation you would like to discuss or simply want to talk something through with us.
In 15 minutes, we can listen to what is happening, ask some focused questions and help you work out what to do next. Sometimes that may be all you need. At other times, we may recommend one of our services, point you towards a useful resource or suggest another next step.
How to proceed
The Careers Clinic is a free 15-minute telephone consultation for people currently living in the UK or Ireland. You must be in the UK at the time of the call.
If you already work in book publishing, are considering your next career step or have a particular career issue you would like to discuss, you are welcome to book a Careers Clinic call.
If you are looking for your first job in publishing, we now have better ways to answer many of the questions we are regularly asked. The Careers Clinic cannot advise on visa sponsorship or your eligibility to work in the UK. We have separate information about visa sponsorship for people who want to work in UK book publishing.
If you live outside the UK or Ireland and would like to work with bookcareers.com, you can still use our paid services. Please contact us and we'll help you identify the appropriate service.
