BIC: Digital Book Production Explained

With print methods changing fast, it can be hard to keep up with the latest and best production opportunities. This course looks at the different digital print technologies and their applications, giving you a thorough understanding of the pros and cons of each and helping you to select the right method for your projects in the future.

• The different print technologies that are used to put “ink” on paper
• The pros and cons of each of the different methods
• What paper stocks are available for digital printing and considerations
• What finishing and binding options are available for short run title
• What other opportunities the technology makes available e.g. personalisation, customisation, printing closer to market
