BookMachine Unplugged: Talking Tech will offer real insights into what is working in publishing right now.
BookMachine has been organising popular publishing events since 2010. If you are an experienced publishing professional and crave an explosion of knowledge, ideas, and personal development – in a strictly social and informal setting – unplug from your desk and join us.
“Thank you for a really insightful evening talking tech, code, and how to use computers to do your dirty work.” Helen Harradine, Inspired Selection
The event details
We’re beyond the stage of talking about whether or not you should learn to code. The benefits and importance of coding are well publicised. We are evolving from the “why” to the “how”.
So join us for an evening of stories from people who’ve done it.
They’ll explain what style suited them. They’ll discuss what they tried that did – and didn’t – work. They’ll explore whether they are an introvert or an extravert and how that impacted on their approach. They’ll describe how they stayed motivated and what they got out of it.
These are real publishing people without computer science degrees. People like us.
Find out how they made the transition from wanting to doing code.
