| Pride In Publishing, April social – We’ve firmed up the details of our next meet-up, which will take place on Wednesday 24th April 2019 at the Retro Bar from 6.30pm.For those of you who haven’t been to the Retro Bar before, the nearest stations are Charing Cross or Embankment. It’s just off the Strand. Come and say hi and have a drink with us – we’ve reserved the upstairs bar. Hope to see you there! Pride in Publishing is a professional network for anyone who identifies as LGBTQ+ working in the UK book publishing industry, including at publishing companies, agencies, trade media outlets, booksellers and libraries. The network facilitates events for members to meet up, make connections and find peer support. As a group, Pride in Publishing aims to provide a space where LGBTQ+ employees in publishing can find fellowship and air suggestions for how to create progress for LGBTQ+ people and representation in all areas of the industry.
