For International Women’s Day 2021 #IWD2021 we have an exclusive interview with Bodour Al Qasimi, President of the International Publishers Association. Bodour is only the second woman to hold the post the presidency, and the first from the Arab World. She is the Founder of the Emirates Publishers Association, and the Founder of PublisHer, the international network to empower women in the book business, as well as being the Founder and CEO of Kalimat Group.
In this episode, number 113, Bodour tells us all about why she founded PublisHer and what its aims are. We learn what publishing is like around the globe for women and how we can support our International colleagues.
