Are you looking for an internship that provides hands-on experience in research publishing and the chance to make connections at one of the largest publishers of education and research content?
The Springer Nature Opening Doors Programme; Publishing Strategy internship is a paid opportunity for students and recent graduates in the UK to gain experience in research and science news publishing in our journals, books or magazines.

The successful applicant will learn within the Nature Journals publishing strategy team, part of the Research Publishing division of Springer Nature. If selected for this internship, you will be assisting with projects and data analysis to support the development of the Nature journals.

About us:
From its inception in 1869, Nature aimed to serve researchers through prompt publication of significant advances in any branch of science. There are now over 60 Nature branded journals, which provide a forum for scientists to publish their best research and also to review the work of others.
The Nature journals Publishing strategy team are responsible for the development of the Nature titles to meet both commercial and editorial goals and as such are responsible for business performance management, new product development and managing the transition of the titles to an open access business model.
About you:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate programme, or be a recent graduate
- Available to start in June 2023 for an internship of up to six months, depending on your preference
- Excellent communication skills are key to this role – both written and verbal
- Strong interest in research publishing and data analytics
