The MVB commerce solution comprise a range of B2B e-trading solutions that provide an industry-recognised electronic ordering network and infrastructure for the global book trade that enables Booksellers and Publishers across the globe to transact seamlessly Established for over 40 years these networks have a pivotal role in the industry routing millions of book orders for the book trade each year.

We are looking for you to join our team at MVB Books Ltd. (UK) as Sales / Account Manager

Key Responsibilities – Your role purpose and impact:

  • Responsible for managing and maximising revenues from an established portfolio of key accounts as well as for finding new opportunities for all commerce solutions and services including EDI, PubEasy and TeleOrdering, chasing new sales opportunities, and establish excellent relationships with the clients, plus attending industry/trade event.
  • Work with the internal Team to identify new opportunities and achieve upsell targets. There will be interaction with numerous internal teams as part of a matrix organisation such as Finance, Marketing and our Product development teams, as well as our team of Technical Account Managers, key to delivering successful outcomes for our commerce-solution clients.
  • Responsible for a significant portfolio and being the key contact and representing MVB in the face of the clientsWhat we particularly like about you:
  • Highly experienced in Sales with strong solution and consultative sales approach
  • Thorough knowledge of the BookTrade and emerging trends in the Publishing Industry
  • Experience in representing at industry events, regular presentations and account review meetings with clients, territoryplanning, forecasting and building robust account plans
  • Flexible, highly motivated and well-organised individual and a confident self-starter with “can-do” attitude and strongwork ethic
  • Capable of working as part of a cross-functional team or independently in a highly matrix management environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills, with a passion for delivering excellent customer service
