Episode 48 of bookcareers.com Live
The Society of Young Publishers (SYP) celebrated its 70th anniversary this year. Founded in 1949, in post-war Britain, the SYP has helped many publishers start their careers and provided them with knowledge and education.
Yet we can also learn from the SYP too. In this episode of bookcareers.com Live we explore a few of the things we can learn from the SYP and have a chat with their London co-Chair Aimee Dewar about what the latest challenges are for young publishers, and what the industry can do to help support them.
You can discuss any of the issues mentioned in this podcast on our bookcareers.com/live platform. Or why not discuss the tips across social media using the hashtag #bookcareers?
